CHASSIS CERTIFICATION DAY - APRIL 13, 2025
TICKETED EVENT ONLY - 8 VEHICLE MINIMUM
All vehicles running 6.39 or quicker 1/8 mile, must have the chassis certified before competition.
The inspection is performed by a certified inspector, who confirms that the appropriate construction procedures were utilized and that the vehicle meets the minimum specifications for the elapsed time or top speed of the vehicle. This program only applies to the roll cage area.

These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official. The Race Director shall be empowered to permit minor deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Open To The Public
Join us most Friday and Saturday nights, Apr-Oct, starting at 7PM for Run What You Brung and Test and Tune. Most factory cars will pass technical inspection as long as they are not leaking fluid and are in good shape.

Basic Racer Safety Requirements
We want to see you rocket your ride down the drag strip, but we also want to see you make it home in one piece. For racing modified (aka fast) vehicles, please follow the WDRA rulebook following your vehicle's ET. For everyone else, either new to the sport or just looking to have a new time, check out the following key points. Many factory vehicles run in the 10-12 second ET range.
Seatbelts
Seatbelts are required to be worn by all racers and their passengers. Roll cage and harness required 7.40 ET or quicker.
Helmet
SN, SA, M or K-2015 or newer helmet required at 8.59 ET or quicker. Required for roll bar / roll cage, open body, bike, ATV, or similiar vehicle. Recommended for everyone and required during competition.
Fluids
Turn air conditioner off before staging lanes. Do not race with any leaking fluids. Pull to side immediately if vehicle is acting abnormally during racing to avoid accidental spills.
Visibility
At least one taillight must be visible after dusk. Right lane yields to left when exiting track. 10 MPH speed limit on return road. Yield to pedestrians.
Occupents
DRIVER: WDRA license OR age 18 w/ valid state license
PASSENGER: solo age 18 w/ adult wearing same safety equipment as driver, front seat, non-elimination runs, 7.50 ET & slower
Clothing
Short pants, tank tops, and nylon or flannel pants are prohibited. All clothing worn by competitors must be free of holes and excessive wear. Open-bodied vehicles must wear gloves and arm restraints.

Burnout Box
Restricted area. Two cars, drivers and crew members, and track officials allowed. Crew credentials may be required. No one should ever be beside or in front of the
car during burn-out or launch unless protected behind a guardrail barrier (horseshoe).
Wheels
Wheels must use all available lugs.
Only for slick and drag radial tires:
If OEM style wheel nuts are used, wheel studs must project through lug nut. If aftermarket wheel and recessed shoulder nut are used, stud threads must project through wheel. No hubcaps or wheel covers may be used.
